I used the atlassian MCP in claude code, but stopped using it because it was eating up too much context (because it has too many tools), and it got logged out every few minutes.
Now i'm trying to shift to the `acli` tool, and it works great for jira. Unfortunately it does not yet support confluence. Please add confluence support, so we can read/create/edit confluence pages.
@Fabian E_ You’re right—acli currently supports Jira well, but Confluence commands aren’t available yet. Today, there’s no way to read, create, or edit Confluence pages through acli. For Confluence access, Atlassian’s supported options are still the REST APIs, Forge apps, or MCP-based tooling. Confluence support in acli has been requested by multiple users, but there’s no published timeline yet. The best way to push this forward is to file feedback or watch the related requests in the Atlassian Developer Community.
Hi @Fabian E_
Good point out there. Alternatively, you can use this app: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/284/confluence-command-line-interface-cli
Yes,it is paid, but you can do some work for two weeks period.
