Dear all,

We are exploring what Rovo can do in terms of AI, and in our scnenario we would like to know if Rovo is capable to handle fully XRAY test management in terms or creation, execution and reporting.

We have the feeling that it is not really integrated.

For example my expectation would be that from a given use case, the AI would be smart enough to suggest test case creation.

Thanks for clarification if any of you have experiment ROVO in XRay environment for test management and face to limitation issues

Regards

Greetings @serge calderara Rovo isn’t deeply integrated with Xray today. It can help suggest or draft test cases based on requirements, but it can’t reliably handle full lifecycle actions like creating, executing, or reporting tests directly in Xray.

Think of it as assistive (ideas, drafts, summaries), not a full test management engine. For structured workflows, you’ll still rely on Xray + Jira APIs or automation.

Hi @serge calderara , as @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ has mentioned, Rovo might not be the right solution to explore if you need to handle the entire test management lifecycle - from test creation to execution and reporting because of the fact that it is not deeply integrated with Xray.

My recommendation: If you are already using Jira as your project management tool, you can try out Test Management by Testsigma - you can upload your Jira stories as context and the tool generates structured, detailed test cases pretty accurately based on your requirements. You also have the option to refine the test cases just by prompting.

It has a tight two-way integration with Jira, so you can link the tests to issues without leaving Jira and track every release. This could completely solve your "traceability" problem. The tool also supports migrating test cases from Xray.

Hi  @serge calderara

You might want to explore AIO Tests Rovo Assistant for this use case.

It leverages the full Jira context (like requirements/use cases) to suggest test cases, so you don’t have to start from scratch. You can also iteratively refine the generated cases through chat before finalizing them.

Once ready, the test cases can be directly imported into AIO Tests — keeping the entire flow within Jira without needing external tools.
