Hi,
We are currently exploring Rovo agent connected to GitHub repository. We can see the available skill for GitHub, all are related to PR and Create Branch only. We are wondering if there is a possibility where a Rovo agent can push or commit a file in GitHub repository. Currently these skills related to GitHub are still in Beta so hoping we can add this feature.
Great question! As of now, the GitHub skills available for Rovo agents are limited to PR management and branch creation (both in Beta). Direct file push/commit capability is not yet available.
Keep an eye on the Rovo release notes for GitHub skill updates!
@Karl Adrian Carpio I'd add... Rovo Dev can make code changes on a branch and create a draft pull request in specific Jira/automation workflows, but that capability is separate from the GitHub skills available to general Rovo agents. So if you’re asking about a normal Rovo agent pushing/committing files directly via GitHub skills, that still isn’t available today.
