Struggling for an ROVO agent to create mentions

I need to create an agent to make meeting notes confluence pages from some transcripts. These pages should follow historical format. 

I have problems Tagging people with @mentions. Either it returns a non working link (not a standard mention), or it returns a non rendered adf at user_id:code which when published doesnt renderess in the mention. 

If I manage to get a working tag, the publish page disappears and I cant not publish anymore, have to copy paste the content and create confluence page?

It looks like you're dealing with two completely separate issues here. On the mention side, tagging someone in a Rovo prompt only gives the agent context; it doesn't create a functional Confluence mention or trigger a notification.

Asking Rovo to generate raw ADF usually backfires because it renders as flat text, and pulling markup from older pages can introduce broken legacy identifiers. To ensure reliability, Rovo should create the note structure, export it to Confluence as a draft without mentions, and then use the standard editor's person picker to add the correct @mentions before publishing.

Ekhem and I put "Ensure reliability in quotes" because as fast as Models changing, there's no reliability. Sorry. That authentic answer.

The missing "Add to Confluence" button seems like a UI bug. To help track it, are you using native "Create with Rovo", standard Rovo Chat, or a custom agent?

It would be helpful to know if it vanishes immediately or only when interacting with the mention picker, and if testing in an incognito window changes anything. If you can share a couple of screenshots, that would be helpful, though we'll likely need to raise a ticket with Atlassian Support to get that fully investigated.
