Rovo web search agent

Hi all,

At Team25 Barcelona, I saw a new Rovo feature multiple times: you can create an agent that not only searches your own sources, but the web in general. Rovo confirmed this to me and said I should look for 'Search web Rovo agent', but it's not in the list. Is this a planned release? I can't find any information about it.

Anyone managed to find it?

We have started rolling out web search last Friday. Expect fully rollout this week.

@Howard Li do you mean general web search for Rovo Chat or do you mean web search for Rovo Agents? We are looking forward using web search with an agent.

we had the "Web search" feature for a while but it didn't really work. Not it's disappeared with the recent UI change.

See [ROVO-42] Provide Rovo Chat and Agents with the ability to read 3rd party / web content - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

and [ROVO-211] Rovo Chat not able to pull Web Content when the 'Web search' feature is used - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

Pretty sure they're working on it but can't find JAC tickets that would show that.

@Jensen Fleming any Roadmap for that?

This is something that is definitely coming in future which is the Web search feature. I saw it on my newly created instances that Web search was also part of Rovo.
