Rovo slack agent

Hi Community

I created a Rovo agent for Slack and realized the agent will greet the user by the service account used to set up Rovo and not the user slack name

I have defined for the agent to greet the user by name not service account via instructions   but seems it still greets by service account

I have tried to "learn" rovo in a slack channel it would reply saying it was will use the slack name user Id going forward but also still the issue

Is there a way to change this permanently

Hey @Mario This is expected behavior today. Rovo Slack agents often use the identity of the connected/service account for context, so greetings can default to that instead of the Slack user. Even if you instruct it otherwise, identity handling isn’t fully customizable yet. There’s no reliable way to override this permanently today—best you can do is guide it via instructions, but results may still vary.
