Hello,

We have blocked Rovos access to all our apps according to the documentation found here: Manage Rovo access | Atlassian Support , however Rovo still shows up for our users and gives answers based on information it should not have access to. We do not want to use Rovo and want it removed and blocked from the entire organization. How can we achieve this if the block list does not have any effect?

Regards

Nevermind, turned off everything in Rovo Settings as well as everything in Rovo MCP Server permissions, whereupon the Ask Rovo button disappeared. It may not have removed all Rovo functionality but it's good enough for now.

Any other setting apart from the Blocklist should not have any effect. Maybe it triggered a new "Sync" of some sort and pushed the Blocklist settings through though..

Hi @Ella Tingström

Rovo itself cannot be removed. But if you disable AI features in all your Apps then AI answers in Search, Summaries, Rovo Chat and Agents should all be disabled and not be visible anymore.

See https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Rovo-articles/Why-Can-t-You-Disable-Rovo-And-What-to-do-Instead/ba-p/3159063

Rovo access settings have been converted into a Blacklist recently but my sites only have been showing the correct list for a few days now. Can you double check that it says "Blacklist" and all Apps are listed under Rovo > Rovo access?

Hi!

Thank you for your answer! I do not understand why Atlassian has made the choice to make it impossible to deactivate/remove, but I do understand that is the case. This is how we have set up Rovo access, but the agent is still able to access the data within our tickets and kanban boards.
