Hi there!
I have questions about Rovo.
1. Do all customer input data in Jira and Confluence not get transmitted or processed in any external systems outside the Atlassian Cloud Platform?
2. Could you confirm that our company data processed by Rovo, including input provided by our users and output generated by the tool, will not be used for training, model improvement, analytics, or any other purpose beyond what is explicitly permitted within the scope of our contract?
Thank you.

Hello @Monique Richardson
These are interesting as well as critical question for AI/ ROVO implementation.
As per the documentation, the data is transferred outside of the current site to third party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI) in order to generate a response. Even though the data is transferred, it follows existing Atlassian security practices. The data is sent to LLM providers individually, over an SSL-encrypted service, to process and send back to Atlassian.
The data submitted or the responses are not used to fine-tune or improve any LLM models or services.
For more details, refer to the documentation here: https://www.atlassian.com/trust/atlassian-intelligence
Hope this helps.
