Rovo Dev is a paid solution within the Rovo realm in Jira.
So you can trail this, but to keep using it this will be a paid solution.
Anyone can use Rovo Dev as trail or paid option.
To use an MCP, within Administration user apps need to be set allowed.
Where is the correct place to set the allowed ? Thank you for the reply

Within admin.atlassian.net, go to Platform experiences, then to sites and pick your site.
Then within the site settings, go to connected apps and make sure under Connected Apps, Settings, Allow user apps is set to allowed.

@Joachim Aßfalg welcome to the community. Just to clarify a couple of points—Rovo Dev isn’t automatically available to everyone on Premium. It depends on entitlements and rollout, and while you may see trial credits, full CLI/MCP access typically requires Rovo Dev Standard to be active on the site.
Also, the “Allow user apps” setting helps, but MCP setup also depends on auth (OAuth/API token) and org-level permissions—so that alone isn’t the full setup.
If it’s working now, you’re likely aligned on both access and config
