Rovo Agent is not creating a confluence pages

I am tryin to create a rovo agent that takes an attachment like a text transcript and essentially creates a published confluence page with the details of that file. The agent runs and does everything I ask EXCEPT for create the confluence page (ive added all the confluence skills thinking that could have been the issue).

I asked it to give a me a link to the new published page and the link always says it cant load (or it says it completed the task and never creates the page). No matter what I try and I can not get it to create the page in specific folder or child page.

This process does work if use the create with rovo option and paste the whole prompt in, the only difference with that path is it gives me a preview and asks me to review and publish.

Can rovo agents not automatically create pages on your behalf even with the added skills like create confluence page?

getting Rovo to actually use its skills is really tricky and frustrating. I too have tried so many prompts and ways. I feel like with the "create with Rovo" feature, getting a regular Agent or Chat to create pages got even more difficult.

Are you prompting Rovo to publish the page in a specific location? Rovo isn't really good with page trees so having it publish the page *anywhere* might be more successful.

If you can share proportions of your Agent instructions and the prompt you're using, we can maybe help you with debugging (or we can have someone from Atlassian look at this).

As per my hands on experiments, rovo will not publish the page on your behalf with out asking user for a confirmation. What I would suggest is using the rove agent in the automation and use that to publish the rovo outcome to a page.

I just created a rough flow and it is able to create the page, the page content and the agent prompt might need bit more modification. I am sure you must be having those already :)

How do you account for the attachment in this scenario? The agent has to read a txt file to execute the prompt

Hi @Bobby Moyini ,

I have not take into account the rovo capabilities of reading the files, it is just what the rovo is expected to do and capturing the outcome using the smartvalue {{agentResponse}}. I would say try it for an internal comment to validate the outcome and then publish it to confluence by changing the automation flow.

@Bobby Moyini Rovo will not read any attachments when invoked via Automations unfortunately.
