Question About Customizing Rovo Agent AI Skills

Hello,

We have been enjoying using the Rovo Agent AI features; however, there are a few points where we are encountering limitations. It appears that we are unable to customize certain skills. For example, when we try to modify the default messages of the “Raise a Request” skill, the system does not allow any changes. We are currently using Jira Service Management (Cloud Premium).

Is there any way for us to enable this type of customization?

Hi @Alperen Demirhan Rovo’s Create/Raise Request skill is not customizable. The wording, layout, and confirmation card—including “Review and edit…” and the “Raise request” button—are fixed UI elements. Agents can’t change or remove them, and admins can’t override the text. The only way to alter the flow is to bypass this skill entirely and use Jira Automation or a Forge/MCP service to create requests outside the built-in card.
