Issue with Smart Values for Custom Fields in Jira Automation

Hi,

I’m trying to use smart values to pull accurate data from Jira and update it on a Confluence page. For this, I’m using JQL queries along with smart values. However, I’ve noticed that some smart values—especially those involving custom fields—do not return the correct summed values.

Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

For a question like this, context is important for the community to help.  Please post the following:

• what version of Jira are you using: Cloud, Server, or Data Center
• for Cloud, what type of project is this: company-managed, team-managed, JPD, etc.
• an image of your complete automation rule in a single image for continuity
• images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches
• an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution
• explain what is not working as expected and why you believe that to be the case 

Until we see those...

Both your Jira version and the way you are accessing custom fields impacts which ones are visible in rules.  Seeing the specifics of your rule will help explain what you are observing.
