Hello,

We want to use Rovo in Premium Jira but we don't want to send data outside of European Economic Area. Is there any option to secure this issue?

Thank you.

Hello @Jan Karczewicz

It helps to separate data storage from AI processing here. While data residency settings let you pin your files at the EU region, Rovo's AI features may still process information outside the EEA through Atlassian’s underlying LLM providers.

You get little more insights here GDPR | Atlassian

For your Use Case Data residency for Isolated Cloud | Atlassian Support, Isolated Cloud becomes more significant.

If you have a strict requirement that no information ever leaves the EEA, Jira Premium doesn't guarantee this out of the box. I recommend keeping Rovo disabled for now and contacting Atlassian Support to confirm the exact routing and compliance paths for your organization.

Cheers,

Arek🤠

Nothing to thank.

And for ultimate confirmation, always check with Atlassian Support because everything around Rovo is changing all the time.
