Is there a limitation when displaying the main agent instructions while using subagents?

Hello,

I’ve noticed that when a subagent is added to an agent, users viewing the agent profile are unable to see the main agent instructions. Instead, they only see the subagent instructions.

Just adding a single subagent already reproduces this behavior

Is this behavior by design, or could it be a bug?

There is a big difference between how the bot works behind the scenes and what its public profile page actually shows. While a helper bot (subagent) is supposed to take over during a chat, completely hiding the main bot's description on the public page looks for me like a visual glitch and not how it's supposed to work.

Kind of even your description sounds like literally book example UI glitch.

Check if your main instructions are still there when you edit the bot in Studio. If the text is safe on the backend but missing for regular users, it's likely a bug and you'll want to report it to Atlassian Support.

Yes, the instructions are not lost,they just don’t appear on the agent’s public profile when you add a subagent.

I will report this bug.
