Is it posible to fetch data for Rovo from the addon's or apps

We are using few addon's like AIO & Clockwork. Using Rovo we can fetch data that is within standard Jira but is it possible to get the data from addon's.

Ex:We are using AIO for test case management. Can we search for test cases in Rovo that are available in AIO instead of going to AIO page. Likewise is it possible to get the data from the addon's using Rovo.

Thanks!

Hello @Mahanth Prudhvi P

There are basically two supported paths here:

If you want the data to be searchable in Rovo / available in Chat and Agents, the documented route is a Teamwork Graph connector. Atlassian says that a graph:connector can import data from external tools into Teamwork Graph, and once it is there, it becomes available across Search, Rovo Chat, and Rovo Agents. The important limitation is that this connector path is still EAP at the moment.

Extend Atlassian apps with a Forge Rovo Agent

Teamwork Graph connector

If you do not need full indexing/search, but just want a Rovo agent to call app logic or fetch data on demand, then a Forge Rovo Agent + Action is the better fit. Atlassian also documents that app actions can be exposed to customer-built agents with the read:chat:rovo scope.

Hi @Arkadiusz Wroblewski thank you for your quick response and provided details.

I am expecting feasibility of fetching the data on demand....just like Rovo searching through Atlassian App and fetching data whenever a user asks.
