would it be possible to use rovo or any other tool to analyze the description, Steps to Reproduce, Root Cause, etc of the Bugs and classify them by selecting an option in a custom field? The idea is to use all the information within a Bug, so that it can be classified in a custom field with a list of options.
I'd say something like that could be possible. You could try using Rovo agents in automation where agent could have an action that would update custom field that you've mentioned. More on Rovo agent actions here.
I didn't specifically test this, but in theory, this should be possible.
Cheers,
Tobi
@Tomislav Tobijas thanks for the response. The only actions available in Rovo to edit a work item is to update the summary or description.
I've tried doing a combination of Rovo and automation and it didn't work.

Ah... shame :/
I've quickly scanned JAC for open suggestions related to this, but couldn't find anything relevant.
I'm also going to move this to Rovo app group so experts there can maybe offer some additional insights or potential workarounds.

@Cohen Kichik_ Stephanie Yes—Rovo can do this, but only through an agent using the “update issue” action. The agent can read the bug’s description, STR, and root cause, classify it, then set a custom field to the right option. Just be sure the custom field is on the screen, visible to the agent’s project role, and uses a supported field type (select list works best).

Hi there,
I am working on developing an application to address this issue. I should push it to the Atlassian marketplace in the next 2 weeks

Hello @Ruth Mantle,
I didn't post it on the App store yet, but I can directly install it on your Org and give you free access. Would you like me to set it up for you?
