I AM DISAPPOINTED You've reached your Rovo Dev credit limit

I am on a Standard trial which is supposed to give 2,000 credits per monthly cycle. Yesterday I used 576 credits without any issues, and today I woke up to a hard block — I haven't changed any settings, I haven't exceeded anything, I was simply blocked for no valid reason. At some point the trial allowed me to keep working through the full 2,000 credits, and now it doesn't — something changed on your end overnight, and that change is directly hurting small businesses and individual developers who rely on the trial to evaluate the product before committing to a paid plan. Restoring the previous trial behaviour costs you almost nothing, but cutting people off mid-cycle kills trust and pushes potential paying customers away before they ever get to see the value — and that's exactly what's happening to me right now.

Hey ya'll hey—this wasn’t expected trial behavior. Atlassian recently changed how Rovo Dev access and credits work, and there was also a bug during rollout that caused users to be blocked early (even below 2,000 credits). So this isn’t normal usage. @dangertest if it’s still happening, raise a support ticket with your cloudId—this needs a backend fix, not a config change.

I was genuinely trying to evaluate Rovo Dev for my work. Instead of that, I'm writing support tickets about being blocked at 576 out of 2,000 credits. This is not the experience you want people to associate with your product.

Hi @dangertest

not need for writing it all in Headings, which feels like an equivalent to Caps lock :) other users reported the same at the same time so there might have been a temporary hickup with the credits.

Hello, do you know if anyone is currently working on this issue?

I don't. Does it still persist? Then opening a support request at support.atlassian.com would be advisable. They usually know of ongoing issues and current works on them.
