The most recent limit I know of was 50 pages per regular search. You can however give Rovo parallel tasks which could be parallel searches.

For deep research it is way more pages.

@Prasanna Ravichandran is correct in saying that Rovo doesn't neccesarily use that limit all the time. But the right prompt will trigger Rovo to do a broader search.

I have just shared my suggestion as below as I never tried this.
ROVO agents don’t fetch all pages at once. They retrieve only the most relevant content within AI context limits, which is why your 40 pages resulted in ~7 being used.

Workarounds:
• Break the request into smaller modules
• Use labels or parent pages to scope content
• Create a summary/master page
• Generate BRD in parts and merge

There’s no fixed page limit — it depends on content size and relevance. Hope this helps :)
