The ROVO connector to azure dev ops says there is an ongoing sync, but 0 items are indexed. It has been over an hour. How long should it take and what could be wrong if it's not working?

we've seen other posters with similar issues where the first Sync took close to 24 hours. It depends on the connector and the amount of data.
So it is not unusual per se but obviously a little confusing as there is no insight in the current sync state.
Are you seeing anything today?
After about 24hours, the status of the sync is ongoing with one indexed object. It is unclear what 'objects' relate to. The ADO backlog consists of 51 work items. It is a free version of ADO with a sample backlog to test the capability before trying on an enterprise version

mhm... that sounds too long. I personally would re-add the connector and wait another day before contacting the Atlassian Support.
There's not really much that we can do from here unfortunately.
