everybody have that problem? does anybody find the solution? or we need to wait for the next update?

Hi,

This is a common issue and not related to a new update. It usually happens when a previous Rovo Dev process didn’t close properly and left a lock file behind.

Try these quick fixes:

  1. Close all running Rovo Dev / acli processes.

  2. Delete the lock file manually:

    C:\Users\user\.rovodev\config.yml.lock
    
  3. If deletion fails, restart your computer and try again.

  4. Make sure no terminal or background process is still using Rovo Dev.

  5. Run the CLI again.

Note: You don’t need to wait for an update — removing the lock file usually fixes it immediately.

Still its not working, tried all the possible ways, but it's not working.

i have config.yml but not config.yml.lock and even that , still aint working

your rovodev working ?
its looks like a global bug,

and config.yml.lock is created for a sec when running acli rovodev run then its get deleted when we get this error
