Can Rovo reference the outside world for definitions?

A common theme in my questions is "does this definition differ from the commonly used definition of term X?" I'm a developer who like to reference outside sources, especially when trying to understand product and how product's definition may drift from my definition. Is Rovo a good tool to address this? If Rovo's definition are sourced from internal documents, that could reinforce assumed or inferred definitions without describing how it differs from the outside world's definition.

Hi @Dave Smith - welcome to the Community

the idea with Definitions is all about using internal knowledge. For instance to answer these questions:

  • What does this acronym mean in my company?
  • How do we use this term?
  • What does this process refer to?

You can ask Rovo chat to define a word/paragraph and activate web search there, if it's not completely disabled in your Org. You could then compare the "definition" (underlined words in the Confluence doc) with the definition that Chat provided by using Web resources. BUT definitions itself won't use web results
