Bug Report: Screenshot Paste Causes "loguru error handler 1" and Interface Freeze
Summary: When attempting to paste a screenshot into the Rovo Dev chat interface, a "loguru error handler 1" error
appears and the interface freezes/becomes unresponsive (stuck in loading/thinking state).
Steps to Reproduce:
1 Open Rovo Dev CLI
2 Start a chat session
3 Copy a screenshot to clipboard (using Windows Snipping Tool, PrintScreen, or any screenshot tool)
4 Attempt to paste the screenshot into the chat interface (Ctrl+V)
5 Error appears and interface freezes
Expected Behavior: Screenshot should be successfully pasted and processed by the AI assistant.
Actual Behavior:
• Error message displays: "loguru error handler 1" (or similar loguru-related error)
• Interface becomes unresponsive/stuck in "thinking" or "loading" state
• Cannot continue the conversation without restarting
Frequency: Happens consistently every time a screenshot is pasted.
Impact:
• Cannot share visual information (screenshots, diagrams, error messages) with the AI
• Forced to restart the application
• Disrupts workflow
Workaround: Currently saving screenshots as files and describing them in text instead of pasting directly.
@Milani Dick Yes—others reported the same behavior on Feb. 13, 2026, so it does not look isolated. For now, using saved image files instead of clipboard paste is the safest workaround, and sharing the exact OS/app version with support should help them reproduce it.

Hi @Milani Dick - welcome to the Community,
I couldn't find any bug report nor feature request for this. I escalated your question to the Atlassian Team, however the Rovo Dev Team isn't really on here on a regular basis so it might be a while.
