Urgent SSO Lockout in our Atlassian Cloud Org – Need Technical Support Escalation

We recently enforced SSO for our Atlassian Cloud organization, but there appears to be a misconfiguration in the SSO setup. Since enforcing SSO, all administrator accounts using the managed domain are unable to log in, and we do not have any remaining admin account that can bypass SSO. As a result, we are effectively locked out of the organization and cannot adjust the authentication policies or SSO configuration ourselves.

We kindly request that you temporarily disable SSO (or SSO enforcement) for our organization or otherwise provide a way for an org admin to regain access (for example, a password-based or passwordless login link). Once access is restored, we will correct the SSO configuration and implement a proper break-glass admin account to prevent this situation in the future.

Hello @Kevin Pohl

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

As a user community we don't have access to your accounts, subscription, or Atlassian Organization.

I will flag your post here to raise it to the attention of Atlassian team members. The SLA for responding is 2 business days.

Hi @Kevin Pohl , as @Trudy Claspill mentioned, the Atlassian Community will be unable to support you directly.

I recommend reaching out to Atlassian Technical Support directly via their support site, support.atlassian.com. You're likely to get faster response from Atlassian there.

It likely goes unsaid, but I recommend keeping at least one non-SSO account configured with Organization Administrator privileges to back out changes like this for your next attempt at configuring SSO.

Best of luck,

Robert
