Multiple organisations using same domain: automation reassign to "default" organisation

Hello,

We have taken notice of your Q2 2024 release Multi Org Domain claims (by March 2024), 

We have been able to create up to 4 organisations for different users sharing the same domain.

We are facing an issue with our Jira automation: it overwrites the organisation that had been logged by the user at the ticket creation, with what looks like the default organisation and adds this user to that same "default" organisation (most probably the first historical organisation that was created with the given domain)

How can we correct this? How can we end this process?

Not exactly.

What we identified or modified

1. a global rule was leading, creating a new organisation based on the user domain instead of picking the right (already existing) one. We modified this automation and we made it a site/project rule only
2. as much as possible we limited the user association to one only organisation
3. there are still instances where the organisation stays blank and we do not know why

So all in all we still have manual work to correct the organisation value in newly created tickets, but more rarely

Also the support documentation is of little help: conflicting text, out of date instructions, cryptic.

We can close this ticket because we moved on but the support documentation stays an issue
