Hey guys, how are you doing?
Question...
Let's say I have my company service desk portal, and, one of my portal customers, client of my company, need to create requests on my instance.
For that, they'll use their corporate email account.
They already use Jira on their company, and have their accounts managed with Atlassian Access.
When they log in to my portal to create a request, using their corporate email, what is going to happen?
1. They'll have to create a new password
2. They'll be redirected to their SSO page, and use the same password they use on their instance
Best Regard
Hi Vando,
Atlassian Access will manage all Atlassian accounts if they already exist. So if your customer needs to login to the portal, they will be subject to their company's existing SSO.
See this answer from an Atlassian for a little bit more detail - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Desk-questions/How-does-authentication-for-JSD-Cloud-customers-work/qaq-p/1316476
