As I shared previoulsy, Atlassian Community Leaders (now called Atlassian Community Champions) @cidoni.brind, @Heather Ronnebeck and I recently started a new online Atlassian Community Events (ACE) chapter for program / project management pros.
It's called Program/Project Masters.
Our meetings are virtual, and they'll happen approximately once a month. And we are off to a great start. Our first meeting attracted 175 RSVPs and about 80 attendees.
That's the industry norm for online events—roughly 50% attendance.
The meeting focused on getting the most out of Jira Plans. And when it was time for audience Q&A several members asked how some of the popular Atlassian Marketplace apps in the project managment category compared to Jira Plans.
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to address those questions in any detail during the event, but it was the catalyst behind this months meeting:
Our approach: We invited leaders from Appfire (BigPicture), Tempo (Structure), Deiser (Projectrak), and Trundl (Simple Portfolio Management) to be part of a panel discussion designed to provide insights into those questions.
In addition, our newst Program/Project Masters Community Champion, @Phil Heijkoop will be part of the panel. He'll wear the neutral third-party hat. [Phil ran the Agile Practices unit at Adaptavist (among other things), and he's familiar with a variety of marketplace add-ons for program/project managent.]
So, when should you look to the Atlassian Marketplace for a Jira add-on for program/project management?
Cidont, Heather and I will ask our panelists to tell us why someone should consider using their products instead of—or in addition to—Jira Plans. Ditto for Jira Align. And more!
Then our panelists will take questions from you. IF you attend.
No slides. No sales pitches. Just authentic conversation.
We hope you'll join us. It's happening on Tuesday, June 24th, at 12:00 Noon EDT / New York (aka, 4:00 PM GMT / London).
Even if you can't make it it's okay, we'll share a link to the recording with everyone who registers.
