Wanted to find all the possibilities to track the user, if any issues are deleted in the Project by mistake (or) Some one who has deleted all the issues using Bulk change.
Thank you Mikael.
@ either remove that option -> Do you mean remove the Permission to Delete Issues ?
Thanks.
@Mikael Sandberg That is how it was configured, some one unknowingly added Jira-software-users to the delete Issue (Permissions), and next thing we noticed all the issues are lost (or) deleted and no longer exists even in the Database.
So I was wondering where such events such as Moving Bulk Issues /Deleting Bulk Issues (or) Some Issues will be recorded!!
Is it possible to get that info from the Database ? (or) find in any of the Logs ?
Thank you.
Jira doesn't track deleted issues, the closest you can get is to look in the access log and search for DeleteIssue, and that will give you the remote IP from which the issue was deleted, that should help you narrow down who the user is.
Your other option is to use the app that @Sandesh Shetty linked to.
