I believe that there are some TASKs related to that story.

If you close all the TASKs, the STORY also will be moved to the CLOSED and RESOLVED state

A story will move into the next sprint if it is not done, or has any subtasks that are not done.

Jira treats the right-hand column in the board as "done", so for a story to be complete and not move sprints, it, and all its subtasks must be in that last column.
