Strike User Stories on Status Closed

Dear All,

I am new to JIRA and this is my first post.

We had completed the sprint in JIRA and client wants to get the strike the user stories when the status is Closed . 

I knew strike appears when u change the status to done the value of resolution field also changes to done automatically which is mandatory for any issue to strike through.

And when we mark the status to Closed then the resolution field value does not change to done automatically due to which the issue does not get strike through.  

But my client wants to get the things done based on this desire .
Can any one please how can I solve this

You need to add one of:

• A post-function that sets the resolution
• The resolution field on a tranistion screen

To the "mark as closed" transition
