Is there a setting/plugin to enable URL slugs in JIRA?

Is there any setting or plugin to enable URL slugs for individual bugs?

It would are really useful for bugs posted in chats, emails, etc. if the url copied from JIRA had a slug based on the title of the bug. Example:

https://whatever.atlassian.net/browse/PET-1278/foo_breaks_when_you_bar

Of course the slug wouldn't really matter, it would still resolve to the same ticket no matter what slug you use. 

I tried searching for this, but only saw results relating to bitbucket repos and JIRA projects (not individual bugs).

No, there's nothing that would do this.  I suspect because there's no real use for it.

It puts some human-readable information into the URL, that is all.
