It would be helpful for education purposes and consistency to have the Jira Server and Cloud versions with the same user interface.

I'm new to agile planning, most of my engagements are centered to Waterfall approach. And all Jira education resources are geared to Jira Cloud, but large institutions tend to favor Jira server, which creates a knowledge gap between the different interfaces.

These products used to be visibly similar however the code bases are separate now. While Jira Cloud as a lot in common with Jira Server and Data Centre, there are also features and functionality that is designed to meet the needs to different markets (SaaS vs on-premise).
