Coloring Entire Jira Card

Hey all,

I need to change the entire card color for a specific case however I could not find anything in order to solve my case. As far as I understand, it can't be managed by the API and board configuration as well.

Anyone guide me? Need some assistance.

You haven't detailed what you are trying to do in this "specific case", but there are:

• Built-in features to set the color of the cards
• Apps to do this with even more flexilibity, like Color Cards for Jira

In fact, I have added a query to see the cards that have been in the same column for 5 days in order to follow the postponed issues, still I am seeking for that if I manage the colors of these postponed cards entirely. I am able to see the postponed cards as per my query but jira just coloring the left side of the card which I already did it in the same way you comment.

Bottom line, I need to know if Jira change the entire card color based on the query or not without an external add-on or app.

I still encounter this issue that was described here. When I set the colors via the built-in feature as you mention then the card stays white and gets a small color bar on the left side on th card. 

I want the whole background of the card to show the selected color
