Are there any software project artifacts for sharing with External customers?

Hi,

I am new to using JIRA Software for project management. We also have a Confluence Software Project space linked to our JIRA Software instance.

When using JIRA Software and Confluence Software Project space, are there any project management artefacts that can be shared with EXTERNAL customers that are paying for us to develop software for them?

How do project managers using atlassian tools typically communicate progress to external stakeholders? What project planning and progress artefacts are available to share externally?
