You are right to expect this from our plugin, Questions for Confluence. There are two different ways for us to set this kind of permission. It is due to the fact that Confluence Cloud and Confluence Self-hosted work in a different way each.
Before diving into permissions and setting for the questions, we need to first enable anonymous access on both platforms. Here is some documentation for that:
Tushar, please keep in mind that space permissions still apply when questions are created within a specific space in Confluence server. Users can only see the questions created there if they have enough permissions to do so. Meaning that you will need to activate anonymous access to spaces in which you need to create public-facing questions.
For Confluence Cloud, however, permissions behave a little bit differently. Permissions for questions are attached directly to spaces where they are created into or to the specific space that is created as soon as you install the plugin. The space name is Questions for Confluence. If you want to set anonymous access to all questions that are created without a specific space as a parent, you need to set the Questions for Confluence space permissions.
