I would like to have a virtual background added to my Loom recordings when I do my screen recording and video capture of myself. I would like for there to be a Logo background instead of the inside of the room I will be in. How can I do that? I don't see anything that helps me accomplish that as far as the help articles, etc.

Hi there! Loom offers different virtual background options for your camera bubble.

At this time there is not a way to upload a custom background, however.

Hi @Jessie A_ Camarillo - you can add custom branding by following these instructions: https://support.atlassian.com/loom/docs/configure-custom-branding-for-your-videos/

As for the background, if using the Mac app (not the Chrome extension), you'll have additional background options by clicking Effects.

Hi @Jessie A_ Camarillo and welcome to the community!

As far as I understand custom bacgrounds is only available when recording in the Desktop or Chrome extension version of Loom. If you have the extension you can go to Effects ->Canvas and choose a background

You can also add a background when editing and enhancing your video

Add a background to your Loom video | Loom | Atlassian Support

Best regards,
/Staffan
