If Loom is where your meetings are recorded and Trello is where your work gets done, this update is for you. ☀️
You can now take action items generated from your Loom meeting recap and send them directly into your Trello Inbox.
Perfect for Loom users who use Trello for personal productivity, planning, or team task management.
We heard from users who:
Use Loom to capture meetings, decisions, and next steps
Use Trello as their personal productivity system or team task board
Loom already generates individually actionable tasks from meetings. This feature closes the loop by making it effortless to move those tasks into Trello, where you can prioritize, schedule, and actually get them done.
Record your meeting in Loom
After your call, Loom’s AI notetaker creates a meeting recap, including an Action items section.
Check your setup
You’ll see the new option when:
You’re using Loom and Trello on the same account
AI summaries are turned on in Loom
Look for “Send to Trello”
In the meeting recap on your Loom recording page, go to the Action items section.
You’ll see a “Send to Trello” button next to it.
Choose what to send
Click Send to Trello, then select the action items you want to track in Trello.
Action items become Trello cards
Trello will create new card(s) in your Trello Inbox, each one including a link back to the original Loom recording so you (or your teammates) can jump right to the full context.
Pro tip: Once the card is in Trello, add a due date, labels, and assignee so you’ll get reminders and keep your follow-ups on track.
Give it a spin on your next Loom meeting recap and see how it fits into your workflow!
Drop your feedback, questions, or favorite Loom → Trello workflows in the comments—we’d love to hear how this helps you stay on top of your action items. 💙
