✨ New Admin Setting: Disable Loom downloads for your team's workspace

We heard you loud and clear: Enterprise admins need tighter control over how videos are shared outside of their organization. That’s why we’re introducing Download Restrictions for Loom — a new admin setting that gives you the ability to disable downloads across your workspace.

How it works

1.) Product admins go to https://www.loom.com/settings/workspace ("General" tab) and set to “Disable downloads”

2.) Once disabled, users in your workspace will no longer have the ability to download videos and transcripts. Note: they'll still be able to share Looms based on the sharing settings you've configured for your workspace.
