Senior Account Executive – Public Sector (ITSM / Atlassian Ecosystem) | Hybrid Remote

Hi everyone,

I’m currently hiring a Senior Account Executive focused on Public Sector (Federal + SLED) to support enterprise ITSM sales at XTIVIA / RightStar.

This is a great fit for someone who has experience selling solutions in or around the Atlassian ecosystem (JSM, ITSM, ITOM, etc.) and understands how to navigate government procurement.

What this role is about:

  • Owning and growing a public sector territory (federal and/or state & local)
  • Selling enterprise ITSM solutions, including Atlassian-based offerings
  • Working through complex procurement channels (GSA, BPAs, NASPO, etc.)
  • Building relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and senior IT leadership
  • Partnering with SIs, VARs, and channel partners


What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years enterprise software sales experience
  • 2+ years selling into federal or SLED
  • Experience with ITSM / ITOM / ESM platforms (Atlassian, ServiceNow, BMC, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement
  • Proven track record hitting quota ($2M+ deals preferred)


Details:

  • Location: Washington, DC / NOVA (remote flexibility)
  • Travel: up to 30%
  • Compensation: $95K–$125K base + uncapped commission
  • U.S. Citizenship required (no sponsorship available)
