55 Degrees is a small, but growing, software company. We provide apps that help people get more done with less stress and we’re actively seeking an Office Manager to join our team in Malmö, Sweden

The Office Manager role is best suited for someone who likes variety. We don’t have huge departmental silos at 55 Degrees. Instead, we have a small team where everyone has an opportunity to learn a variety of skills. Join our team and help us steer our company and your career in a great direction!

About the Work

You’ll join our Business Operations team and work alongside our founders. You won’t be doing the same thing day in and day out as the work will be varied in nature across many core business functions like people ops, finance, facilities, and more. Here are some examples:

• Help onboard new employees, measure and improve employee happiness, implement employee policies (PTO, parental leave, etc.), and benefits programs.
• Work with our accountant to handle accounts receivable/payable and input to the monthly payroll.
• Handle the quote and invoicing process for new sales and renewals
• Plan company off-sites and team-building events. Assist the marketing team in planning and executing customer-facing events.
• Create and coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Manage office facilities and vendors, order office supplies, and handle asset management.
• Assist other teams in planning and launching new programs with a goal of ensuring operational sustainability.
• Other tasks as needed

About You

You are someone who wants to add value and be valued as part of a team. When something needs to be done, you often take initiative and appreciate when leaders provide guidance so you can make your own decisions. Positive attitudes are important to you. You're also willing to help your teammates and don't see receiving help as a sign of weakness. Most importantly, you like to leave things in a better state than they were when you found them.

You have most of all of these skills and attributes:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar positions, ideally in a small company
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Experience working in systems like Visma or Fortnox
• Not scared by computers or apps, especially spreadsheets 😄
• Strong written and verbal English and Swedish skills
• Allowed to work Sweden without sponsorship and are in commuting distance of our Malmö office.

There is no specific educational requirement though a college degree is a plus, especially one related to the activities this role is responsible for.
