Senior Atlassian Platform Architect (ACE) - open to remote roles worldwide, full-time or contract

I'm open to my next role and available to work remotely with organisations anywhere in the world.

For the past 14 years I have been the lead Atlassian engineer for a major multilateral development bank: 5,000+ users, 80+ departments, 400+ projects, and 5 successful migrations, architected, migrated, and extended end to end.

What that looks like in practice

• 5 successful platform migrations, including a full Server-to-Cloud migration with zero data loss and cutover inside a 24-hour weekend window
• 7 production Forge apps, including a live SAP integration, with app delivery cut from 45 to 22 days using a Claude Code + MCP multi-agent pipeline running in production
• Two enterprise JSM service desks: 120 agents, 550+ requests per month, approval turnaround reduced from 3 days to 4 hours
• A five-person admin team built and led, 300+ users trained

Credentials

Atlassian Certified Administration Expert (ACE), 11 Atlassian credentials including Cloud Fundamentals and JSM Fundamentals with AI, and deep hands-on experience across Jira, JSM, Confluence, and Forge.

What I'm looking for

• Senior in-house roles: Platform Architect, ITSM Lead, or Enterprise Applications Lead
• Remote first, fully global. I work comfortably across GCC, European, and Asian time zones and have delivered for teams in Saudi Arabia, India, and South Africa
• Open to full-time, long-term contract, or fractional architect engagements with Solution Partners and vendors who need senior delivery capacity
