Story Points not showing on a scrum board created from a filter that combines multiple TMP

team managed project boards were created here, no need to get into why.  the individual TMP boards show the story points beside each ticket and sum them at the bubbles at the top of the sprint. story point estimation is turned on in each issue type and board.  

But we need to see a board with tickets from other team managed projects. 

I have created the filter that combined tickets from 2 TMP.  I created a scrum board using the filter.  the tickets show in each sprint on this board.  yay!  but the story points do not show nor do they sum in the bubbles at the top.  In board configuration under Estimation, Story Points are selected

am I trying to do the impossible because the projects I am filtering on are TMP?  

( moving to CMP is possible, just not near term )

This is expected behavior, TMPs is not using the same Story Point field that the CMP board is expecting. TMPs should be considered its own island and cannot share any information with any other projects, no matter if they are TMP or CMP. The rollup in a CMP board only works for CMPs.

I was afraid of that.  I think I already know the answer but ... Is it possible to use the CMP story point field for TMPs. Thank you.
