Dear All
I am in need of an immediate inputs. Anyone who can help on this
Scenario
1. There is one Atlassian account in Jira
an email id PPP.COM is used to connect and view the boards etc
2. There is another Atlassian account in Jira
The same email id PPP.COM is used to connect to this as well
However both the atlassian Jira URLs are different but access to the both are using the same EMAIL ID
My question is
I want to access at my end the two Jira URLs as a merged one instead of using two different URLS.
I mean , instead of typing two different URLs in browser , can I not have an option in the first to go to the second URL from the first URL itself ?
Please help
Regards
Preem
Hello @Preem Prakassh Dayaal
The Application Navigator panel can be used to navigate between Cloud products. If both product URLs are not currently shown there, a Jira Administrator in each system can modify the lists to include the link to the other sites.
You cannot use the URL of one to directly access issues in the other. For example if you are currently looking at issue ABC-123 on jira1:
https://jira1.atlassian.net/browse/ABC-123
And you want to look at issue XYZ-987 on jira2:
https//jira2.atlassian.net/browse/XYZ-987
You have to use the URL for the system where the issue actually exists. You could not use the Jira1 URL to directly access an issue on Jira2.
You, as an end user, do not have the ability to merge the data from two discrete Jira Cloud instances into one Jira Cloud instance.
Hi Trudy
I need a bit more information or help
All I need is to access the Jira Instance B URL from Jira Instance URL A.
So say for example I am logged into Jira instance URL A . All I need is to have a navigator or a button or a dropdown from where I can directly go to the Jira instance URL B .
This is my simple ask .
Can you please elaborate
Regards
Preem

Hello @Preem Prakassh Dayaal
Click on the Application Navigator in the upper left corner as shown below. Does it already list both Jira instances there? If so, use that to move between the two Jira instances?
If that list does not include both instances, do you see the Manage List option at the bottom, as shown in the image?
If you do, then you can use that to manually add the link for the other Jira instance to the list. Note that all users of the instance you are currently on will then see that link in their list.
If you don't see the Manage List option, then you are not an administrator for the Jira instance and you cannot change the list your self. You could contact the administrator for your instance to ask if they will update the list. Or, you can simply set a bookmark in your browser for the other instance.
