This field already has some values and its Type is Multi choice , however when i try to add more values to it , giving the error while adding values iam choosing available value from list but even when i rollover on the field it gives this message.

I suspect that the valid values for that field have changed. Assuming that this is a Company-managed project and this is a Custom Field, go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields and search for that field.
Then click on the 3 dots menu and select Contexts and Default Value. There see what the current valid values are.

Hi @Mathias Minsel , I found that the field was taking 2 values of same names i deleted all the values on Context and Default values and added it again and it worked.
