Hi
In Jira New Gen I am trying to create new board (multiple boards for 1 project) but the project does not appears in the project field, please advice?
Search --> Boards -->Create board --> Create Kanban board --> Board from an existing project --> and Select one or more projects to include in this board (No matches)
Hi GZ,
The cards that appear on the board are based on the Filter for the board - not the project used in the Location field. You have to have a value in it, but it can't be a Next-gen project (nor a Jira Service Desk project for that fact). So you can choose any project you want (I just use a "dummy" project or template project). Then just be sure your filter has the project(s) you need.
Thanks Johne
My existing project in New Gen, I want to split them into 3 boards and use filters for each board.
Project field allow to chose only classic kanban project, do you mean to create one classic kanban project and select that one?

Can you check if you have the desired access level to create the same in that project ?

Hello @GZ next gen projects can't be configured to be shown in multiple boards as classic projects. That should be the reason why it doesn't show up
