How does one share/email an issue with a non-JIRA account member? The share option only allows sharing with JIRA account holders.
One can use shared filters and dashboards. See more info in the link below.

I will investigate your filter solution, but I was hoping for a simple "email to" mechanism which does not require the recipient to login.

Recipients don't have to log in. All you've to do is share your dashboard or filters via email
