×Hi,
we have three Jira instances at hand we want to consolidate into one (new) instance. For the time being we do not have full admin access since the Jira instances are managed by a different team. We are project admin, though. We are looking for the easiest approach to migrate the tickets, their fields and the attachments.
May be someone else did something similiar in the past. I found several topics regarding migrating one instance to another but not much info or advice consolidating several instances.
Hi @Maik Himstedt - Welcome to the community! :)
You did not found any unique topics because this is a little bit more complex operation and depends on details that you provide. Consolidating is possible but under certain conditions. It is easier to consolidate two small instances that are on the same version, set of users, etc than two instances on different versions, set of user.. etc. Also depends do you want to keep the history or do not care of it.
I suggest you start with those articles

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-merge-jira-applications-instances-244352137.html
In the meanwhile may I offer you to take a look at our addon - WatchTower for Jira - it may allow you to consolidate data from different Jiras into one board. For some of our customers this turns out to be alternative for migration and allows to work nicely with remote Jira instances
Regards
Andrey
