×I have multiple projects running in separate JIRA instances. We are doing a consolidation to move specific JIRA projects from various instances to one. When I import instances, it overwrites the existing data in my new server. Is there a way to import selective projects from multiple instances?
If you are dealing with projects spread over different Jira instance - you actually have a number of choices
1. The approach you suggested - migrate projects into a single instance. In this case you get the most consistent setup, but migration might be a challenge. You will need to deal with dependencies on external addons, overlapping custom fields, merge of users etc
2. Option 2 would be to setup synchronization for those projects you have to move. Here you can take a look to solutions that deal with synchronization of instances like Backbone issue sync.
3. Option 3 - you might setup a bridge with WatchTower board and work from your main instance with remote, as it is local board and you manage the same way as you do for Agile local projects. The main benefit is that you can get an overview of your projects from multiple Jira instances on one board within 10 minutes spent on setup. ( to be clear Rozdoum is a company behind WatchTower :-))
If you really need migration Project by Project - I'd rather take a look at Project Configuration, might be a good starting point

Should you have questions about Watchtower - please book time here for demo
Hi @Saravanan VC,
welcome to the community.
Please have a look here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/restoring-a-project-from-backup-938847691.html
It describes how to import projects into an existing Jira instance.
