tickets created from email do not contain line feeds

all plain and html tickets created in jira cloud service from email do not contain any line feeds and end up one huge mess when sent from outlook.

other system emails received to jira come though very nicely and include formatting

any ideas on why/how to solve this as block unformatted text is unreadable

Thanks for reaching out to Community!

Searching using the details you provided, I was able to find a bug and a feature request that may be related to the issue you are facing. 

Just for us to make sure it’s related to one of the above or not, if possible, send us a screenshot of how it shows in Jira.

As this issue is happening only when the email comes from Outlook, it means that the configuration in Jira is correct.

Also, I’m not sure if you are using a next-gen or a classic project, but check how it looks using the old and the new view if possible.
