is it possible to have the request names that change translation according to the language of the web browser ?
for example descriptions and request names are displayed in French if chrome or firefox is in French

Hello Lionel and welcome to Atlassian Community!

Yes! It's possible to add different languages to the portal for your customers.
You will have to go to Project settings > Language support and add the desired language.
Then every "yellow dot" that appears on the page you will have to check the translation.
After that, you must check the option "Visible to customers".

thank you for your answer, but with my Jira v7.12.3 server version
I don't have Support Language in project setting.

Maybe its possible only witch cloud version ...

Hi Lionel,

I'm sorry about that, I should have asked you if you have a Server or Cloud.
This feature is only available for Jira Cloud  for now and for Server we have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
