Hi,
we have one custom field "project name" which includes almost 20 projects.
So is there any way to search request on customer portal by inserting project name on the customer portal?
thank you
Hello Akshay,
Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
Just to make sure that we are on the same page, would you like to search text on a custom field (select list) on the customer portal or search for request types on the customer portal?
Both options are possible. When creating a custom field "Select list - Single choice", customers will be able to type text to filter the results of the custom field.
Related to filter request types, they can use the search bar where they can type and find articles and also request types.

Angélica
Hi @Angélica Luz
I like to search using option "search for request types" on the customer portal.
for your understanding please find below details-
In our Jira, we have custom filed "PROJECT NAME" which is multiple select list.
project name filed contain 20+ project eg. project1, project 2....etc
let consider In our jira there are 5 requests are already raised for the project1.
now I want to search or display all the request created for project1 on the Customer Portal by inserting text project1.
When I insert project1 in search option then it should display all 5 requests.
now please provide me with the solution.

Hi Akshay,
Thank you for the details.
Currently, it's not possible to use the search on the customer portal to find other information like custom fields. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation to search for other types of fields in the customer portal:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Angélica
